Above the Black Mother Tree, The Only True God remained as calm as ever.
Was Arrow God easy to kill? No, she was exceedingly difficult to kill.
Among the Three Pillars and Six Luminaries, killing the others was easier than killing the Arrow God. She had been born in a spacetime called "Li." This "Li" spacetime had one very peculiar feature: the talents of its people.
Not everyone in the "Li" spacetime had a talent, but one would occasionally awaken in certain people.
This talent was called "Li," the same name as the "Li" spacetime. It was a simple talent. Anyone who awakened it could, after reaching a certain level of cultivation, put on a skin. This skin was equivalent to a body, identical to their own but without consciousness. It could not be sent out, nor could it function as an external incarnation or a clone. Its only purpose was to be worn over their real body, allowing them to take a fatal blow in its place.
Anyone who awakened the Li talent was extraordinarily hard to kill, because no one knew how many layers of skin they had put on.
Others could not see these skins. When struck with a fatal attack, it was always the skin that took the blow, not the real body. Only after every layer of skin had been destroyed would the real body finally die.
The Only True God had learned of this spacetime by chance. He had gone there in person, and happened to witness Arrow God awaken her Li talent. The ruler of the Li spacetime wanted to consolidate his power, so anyone who awakened the Li talent was taken away, and all their parents and relatives were killed. This ensured that they would lose their memories of their loved ones
