The card shattered, and Yu Leng escaped, gasping for breath. There wasn't a single intact patch on his body. His skin clung to him, ready to peel off at any moment.

In the distance, the blood of four headless corpses stained the surroundings red and flowed into the sea.
Hu Liu appeared. He was in hardly any better shape than Yu Leng. He kept tearing at his own skin, ripping it off piece by piece, along with his flesh. The sight sent chills through Yu Leng, who stared fearfully at the little bug on his fingertip. What had that little bug done to this man?
Hu Liu was in agony—agony beyond measure. His entire body was drenched in blood, yet he still hadn't forgotten that he wanted to kill Yu Leng.
His card cracked. His palms were a bloody mess, and beneath the veil of red in his eyes, he stared at Yu Leng.

Hu Liu gritted his teeth, enduring pain beyond anything Yu Leng could imagine. He picked up a companion's broken sword from the ground and approached Yu Leng step by step.
Yu Leng exclaimed in admiration, "I respect you, but you're dead either way. No one can leave this planet alive." As he spoke, more Jade Butterflies flew out. He had only a dozen or so left. They joined together, became a streak of light, and slashed down.
