"If it lets you get here so quickly, why has the Spiritualized Universe spent all these years sending only you and Zhan Yan to help the Eternal Clan? Even if Yu Sang Tian has his own agenda, he can't make it so obvious that anyone could see it," Lu Yin said, raising his doubts.
Yuan Qi thought for a moment. "There are two reasons. First, it's true that once you step onto the stepping-stone, you can reach the Threefold Universe very quickly. That takes about ten or twenty years—anyway, no more than fifty. But the distance from your original universe to the stepping-stone is very long. Lord Lu, you've probably heard of the Cubic Distance. To ordinary people, the Cubic Distance is like traveling from an ordinary world to the stars beyond its borders: unimaginably far. So far that many people die along the way."
Lu Yin recalled Tian Ci saying that the Spiritualized Universe could already build stepping-stones. That meant this reason no longer mattered—or at least, from now on, the Spiritualized Universe had control of this stepping-stone and would surely build one within its own borders first.
"The second reason is..." Yuan Qi paused, then met Lu Yin's eyes. "Lord Lu, may I ask what your greatest realization has been since you began cultivating?"
