Among those present were many experts. More than ten had reached the Starwalking Realm, and there were even Hunting Realm powerhouses who had reached the Cruising Realm or soared high above, looking down on everyone below.
Unfortunately, no one except Spirit Interpreters could make a move. Hunting Realm powerhouses could easily approach the tree-shaped Progenitor Relic, but doing so risked destroying it. That was why Spirit Interpreters held such high status: they could do what ordinary people could not, regardless of their cultivation.
"Brother Nan, as a Three-star Bright Eyes Beginner Spirit Interpreter, aren't you going to make a move?" a young man called out from the crowd.
Across from him, a man snorted. "Rien, one of the dead was a Three-star Bright Eyes Beginner Spirit Interpreter. You know that, don't you?"
"There are differences even among people of the same rank. How could Brother Nan's abilities compare to anyone else's? Everyone knows you're a genius Spirit Interpreter from the Outer Universe. Please, show us what you can do!" Rien shouted.
Others around them immediately joined in. They were all Spirit Interpreters.
Rivals never got along. Faced with such a valuable Progenitor Relic, none of the Spirit Interpreters wanted to give up. They all wanted someone else to test the waters.
"Since you're so eager to see what I can do, Brother Rien, why don't we do it together?" Brother Nan said.
The man called Rien was tempted. One person definitely wouldn't be enough, but two or even three might manage it. "Fine. If Brother Nan's willing, we can work together. Which of our fellow practitioners would like to join us in interpreting it?"
"I'll do it," said a middle-aged man, stepping forward to join them.
But as soon as he came forward, an invisible force sent him flying back.
