"Let's give it a try," Yanbo Haomiao said.
"We can't climb it," Yue Ya said.
"Then how did Moshang get up there?" Yanbo Haomiao asked, puzzled.
At the thought of it, even Yue Ya felt wary.
If the cliff were easy to climb, the Nine Heavens Universe wouldn't be so comfortable letting people train here. After all, they would have to face experts at the Cross Tribulation level, like the Thirteen Celestial Phenomena. The slightest mishap could spell trouble.
Nothing had happened all these years, which proved that the Nine Heavens Universe had great confidence in the cliff.
Yet Moshang had defied that understanding by climbing it. That meant he possessed the power to shatter the Nine Heavens Universe's assumptions—and that power was what made him so unsettling.
"Yu Sang Tian has a technique that lets him ignore space and time to deliver a blow that can grievously injure Eternity. The reason Eternity is recuperating in Parallel Space-Time is that Yu Sang Tian did that to him," Old Chief said. Then, with some reluctance, he added, "I thought our trap would be enough to bury Yu Sang Tian, but we still underestimated him."
Yue Ya was surprised. "A trap?"
Old Chief nodded and explained how they had used Night Dream as bait to lure Yu Sang Tian in, then set up a trap. There was no point hiding it now; the trap had already been broken.
But hearing about it made Yue Ya excited. "Could that trap hold Yu Sang Tian for a while?"
"It can, but not for long," Old Chief said. "It needs to work in tandem with my Heaven and Earth Lock."
"That's enough," Yue Ya said. "How long would it take to set the trap again?"
Old Chief exchanged looks with Frost Knife and the others.
