Karma pierced through Lu Yin and shot behind him. He didn't need to look. The claw was so enormous there was no need to aim.
Karma fused with the point of light and pierced the claw. The instant it touched, the Karma Heavenly Path suddenly shrank a hundredfold. Even in such a dire moment, Lu Yin felt a pang of heartache. That Karma had come from the cream of both universes and the meteor belt, and now most of it was gone in one stroke.
At that moment, the claw stopped. It pierced the starry sky, and a beast's roar came from the distance. It sounded extremely excited, as though it had finally taken revenge.
This was Karma that Lu Yin had created. He had made his own death the effect and sent it to the beast, satisfying its desire for revenge. Seizing the opportunity, he rushed into the Boundless and slammed into Aragami's back.
"Get moving," Lu Yin said weakly.
No one needed him to say it. No one wanted to stay behind. The sight of the beast blotting out the sky behind them made everyone's hearts tremble.
The Boundless sped toward the plank. Luckily, it wasn't far from the border. Before long, the ship reached it. The plank flung the Boundless away, and it vanished.
The instant the Boundless disappeared, the beast roared again. This time, its cry was full of fury, sweeping in every direction like a gale. It knew it had been tricked.
The people aboard the Boundless stared blankly, watching the void sway as the ship vanished with the plank's power.
Only after the border of the Consciousness Universe was out of sight did everyone finally breathe a sigh of relief.
