Before long, a monstrous claw appeared outside Torch City. Its two eyes fixed on Lu Yin as it let out a deafening roar.
Four war boats were flung out from Torch City toward the Spiritualized Universe.
Master Cao suddenly looked back at Torch City. "It's right on our heels. That's unexpected. And I'm even more surprised that kid managed to escape until now."
As he spoke, he set down the bamboo basket he had been carrying on his back. It fell apart, transforming into a vine that sprouted leaves.
Master Cao flicked the vine, connecting it to the four war boats one by one. Then he took a single step and vanished toward the Spiritualized Universe.
The cultivators aboard the war boats fainted on the spot, unable to withstand such incredible speed.
At Torch City, Lu Yin watched the claw descend and took a deep breath. "You beast, I don't know how many universes you've destroyed, but I'm right here today. What can you do to me? Hahahaha!" With that, he activated the jump point and vanished in the blink of an eye, heading toward the Spiritualized Universe.
This was the largest jump point. It hadn't been made by the Spiritualized Universe; it belonged to this universe, and no one knew whether it had formed naturally or been created by someone.
In the past, the Spiritualized Universe had used this jump point to reach the Heavenly Origin Universe in a single year.
Now, Lu Yin was using it to flee toward the Spiritualized Universe.
He couldn't keep running for ten years. Without the people aboard the Boundless helping him unleash their power, his own strength wasn't enough to threaten the monster, and he didn't have enough specks of light either.
But with this jump point, he wouldn't need to fight.
