Lu Yin looked down at Qian Shu. "Anything else you want to say?"
Qian Shu shut his eyes, his whole body trembling. Despair consumed him, and darkness suddenly clouded his vision. He nearly fainted.
"I regret it. I regret having Granny Ya act at Heaven's Gate. If I could turn back time, I'd rather never have left Young Master Lord Tower."
Lu Yin nodded. "A simple, honest wish. Seems you don't want to die."
Qian Shu's body jolted, but he didn't answer.
Most people would curse at a moment like this—not out of fear, but because they couldn't accept reality and had to curse at it. They wouldn't necessarily curse Lu Yin; more often, they cursed the outcome.
Qian Shu only expressed regret. That meant he wanted to live, and for that, he didn't dare curse or show even the slightest dissatisfaction.
Lu Yin was quite satisfied with that attitude.
"You won a gamble against Myriad Phenomena Valley through luck. Where did that luck come from?" Lu Yin asked.
Qian Shu answered without hesitation. "Spring and Autumn Jian's method: writing the character 'luck.'"
Lu Yin's eyes brightened. "Then I need that character. Can you help
