Whoosh! A figure swept past overhead, a powerhouse strolling through the stars.
One after another, more figures left. These powerhouses were all eager to rush deeper inside.
Lu Yin looked around at the buildings. "Monkey, can you tell what era these buildings are from?"
"Seventh Brother, do you really think I'm an archaeologist? Everything I know comes from records left by powerhouses. I've never studied eras. How would I know?" Ghost Marquis replied.
Lu Yin casually pushed against a wall. It toppled to the ground and crumbled into dust. It was far too ancient for anything to have survived; there wasn't even any writing on the buildings.
"To house an entire clan inside such a vast centipede's abdomen, that clan must have been extremely powerful. The materials used in these buildings must have been extraordinary. Even so, they've crumbled to dust. Just imagine how long ago this place was built," Ghost Marquis said.
Lu Yin was puzzled. "That centipede's corpse is perfectly preserved. Why hasn't it disappeared with the passage of time?"
"I don't know. By rights, it should have disappeared," Ghost Marquis said, equally puzzled.
"By the way, Seventh Brother, put the spacecraft in your Void Ring," Ghost Marquis suddenly said.
Lu Yin frowned. "I can't fit the spacecraft in. It's too big."
"You're thinking of an ordinary Void Ring. The one you're wearing was given to you by Bei Menlie. It might work," Ghost Marquis said.
Lu Yin's eyes lit up. He returned to where the spacecraft had landed and tried, but it still wouldn't fit. It was too large. The Void Ring could only hold objects up to one meter on each side; he would have to dismantle the spacecraft to store it.
"Forget it. I'll wait until I get a better Void Ring," Lu Yin said
