Lu Yin suddenly attacked, striking a palm at the space behind Coco. His palm force pierced through the void and dissipated over the Dead Sea without causing a ripple.
Kuang Wang looked at Lu Yin in surprise. "Did you see an illusion?"
Lu Yin didn't know how to explain it. He hadn't seen one, but he had sensed it forming in advance and disrupted it. "I can feel when an illusion is about to appear."
"That's impossible. No one has ever been able to sense an illusion before it appears," Kuang Wang immediately said. "What you saw might have been exactly what the illusion wanted you to see."
The others agreed with Kuang Wang.
Lu Yin couldn't explain. The Dead Sea and the Star Ascension Platform had the same origin. His eyes had changed on the Star Ascension Platform, and he had been able to see Rune Dao Numbers ever since entering the Dead Sea. It definitely hadn't been an illusion, but none of that would make sense to Kuang Wang.
"Don't worry about it. The important thing is that you don't need to be afraid. I can deal with the illusions before they appear. Just focus on crossing the Dead Sea," Lu Yin said firmly.
Kuang Wang wanted to say more, but Xia Luo cut him off. "Whether or not Lu Yin's telling the truth, there's nothing we can do about it. Let's trust him. If we see another illusion, we'll attack it."
Kuang Wang nodded. Xia Luo was right. "All right. Remember, attack as soon as you see an illusion."
Zola was still shaken, and Coco tried to comfort her.
Both Kuang Wang and Feng Shang looked grim.
Only Xia Luo remained calm, as though he trusted Lu Yin completely.
