After a pause, Azure Lotus Supreme continued, "No one would rashly step into a fog they couldn't see through. Luo Chan was no different. It wouldn't keep teleporting around to search for civilizations as you might think. Given how much the Immortal Master protects it, I can say that Luo Chan can't help the Bug Nest Civilization find other civilizations. Its only use is on the battlefield."
Lu Yin agreed. "No one can guarantee that it won't teleport straight into a Fishing Civilization."
Azure Lotus Supreme chuckled. "It might even land in the Unknown's home territory or the Death Universe. Then, forget the Immortal Master—even the civilizations behind them might not be able to protect Luo Chan. It's afraid of dying, so it wouldn't be that reckless."
"Looking back at our war with the Bug Nest Civilization, I noticed that whenever Luo Chan teleports, it tends to appear in places it knows."
"Really?" Lu Yin hadn't noticed that.
Azure Lotus Supreme nodded. "It's happened several times. So if you hadn't used that monster as bait to catch Luo Chan, I would've struck in several places once the war started again. I'd have had a fifty percent chance of catching it."
Lu Yin laughed. "Luo Chan really is a coward. Once its actions follow a pattern, it's bound to get into trouble."
For the next six months, they didn't see a single civilization.
That was only normal. If civilizations kept turning up, how could the Cubic Distance be so quiet?
Their earlier discovery of two civilizations in a row had been little more than a coincidence.
A Pathfinding Stone could only carry a limited amount of consciousness, and that consciousness could only perceive a limited area around it. How could it possibly happen upon a Universe Civilization?
Any Universe Civilization was
