Lu Yin gazed expectantly at Mr. Mu, waiting for an even better opportunity. He had received a gift for his apprenticeship, but it was neither a battle technique nor a cultivation art. Surely his master would give him a cultivation art or battle technique, right?

Lu Yin felt as though he was about to be sent away. He put the Jade Stone away and hurriedly asked, "Master, what must I do to become a full disciple? Do I absolutely need an opportunity?"
Mr. Mu gazed at the forest beneath High Mountain. "Not necessarily. There's a War Soul here who's also at the Extreme Realm. Defeat him, and I'll accept you as a full disciple."
Lu Yin's eyes lit up, filled with fighting spirit. The Extreme Realm held no one he feared. "Please arrange it, Master."
Mr. Mu casually waved a hand. The scene before Lu Yin shifted, and he appeared in the forest.
It had taken him a month to climb from the golden sea to the summit. Returning to the forest, however, took only an instant.
Not far ahead, a War Soul stood with his back to Lu Yin. Sensing Lu Yin's arrival, he slowly turned around.
Since Mr. Mu had set this test, Lu Yin knew the Extreme Realm War Soul wouldn't be easy to deal with. Star energy filled his eyes as he scrutinized the opponent. His pupils abruptly contracted. Where were all the runes? Why were there so few?
