Master Ku Deng reminded him, "Watch carefully. To some extent, the path you walk is similar to Mr. Lu's. Both of you grow stronger through battle. Though Mr. Lu is young, he's exceptionally skilled at fighting. Perhaps you were wrong to spend all these years in the Mind Universe suppressing your battle intent in hopes of breaking through."
Ku Zhan clenched his fists. "I need to unleash my battle intent and free my heart."
Master Ku Deng nodded. "The Bitter Abyss held you back. Everyone has a different path to walk. That's true of civilizations, and even more so of individuals. It's a pity you've already taken me as your master. Otherwise, if you could have become Mr. Lu's disciple, your future would have been limitless."
Ku Zhan hurriedly said, "Master, the Bitter Abyss didn't hold me back. Without it, I wouldn't have made it this far. Mr. Lu is indeed formidable, but I belong only to the Bitter Abyss."
