Lu Yin stared coldly at Ji He.
Ji He sneered. "No wonder a mere decoy survived and even inherited a legacy. You people aren't just inferior—you're despicable." He fixed his eyes on Lu Yin. Jiu Wen said, "Let's not dwell on what happened so long ago. Whatever took place back then, the Human Civilization should unite now."
As he spoke, he looked at Lu Yin. "Ji He's words were harsh, but the Human Civilization really should join forces. What do you think, Mr. Lu?"
Lu Yin faced Jiu Wen. How ridiculous. He made it sound as if they owed the Star Under Red Clothes Civilization something. "The bet isn't over yet."
He hadn't forgotten their first meeting. Jiu Wen had shown no guilt or remorse over his civilization being used as bait. He had treated it as just another step in the process and promised compensation. That indifferent attitude was so much like Ji He's.
