If you try to draw a tributary away from the main current, making too much of a disturbance will provoke resistance from the entire current. You can think of it as a counterattack. It's easy to get swept away."

"The more powerful a creature is, the less it wants to be swept away by the Main River of Time. Once it is, it might be gone for good."
