Lu Yin walked across the ground. Far off to his right stood a castle, one corner of it broken away.

There were many more white bones scattered across the earth, as though another layer had been laid down.

They stretched endlessly. Each step sank deep into them.

A pure black creature rowed a small boat across the river. It was a native of the Death Universe, and a ferryman on the River of Time.

Watching the creature gradually disappear into the distance, Lu Yin was tempted to catch it and take a look—to see what the Death Universe really was.

As he slowly crossed the bone wasteland, a familiar white-bone figure came into view in the distance: Zhou Boss.

Lu Yin walked over to him. "What are you looking at?"

Zhou Boss turned around abruptly. When he saw Lu Yin, he stared in surprise. "You? You're not dead?"

Lu Yin opened his skeletal mouth. "No."

"Where have you been all these years?" Zhou Boss asked, baffled.

"I was buried beneath layer after layer of bones. The war with Dongxu Mountain cracked my leg bones too, so I couldn't get out. Luckily, the bones were moved during the recent battle. Otherwise, I'd still be stuck."

Zhou Boss didn't question him further. He was delighted. "You're out. That's what matters."

"It hasn't been all that long, anyway."

Lu Yin asked, "How's our band doing?"

"After we confirmed you were dead, Eternal and Zhu quit. I didn't care, so I didn't stop them. Fish Bone kept wanting to reform the band with me, but I wasn't interested. You know why we formed it in the first place:
