Jian Wu looked at Lu Yin, unable to understand why Toad Boss would let a creature who hadn't even reached the Eternal Life Realm speak. Still, he replied, "That's right."
"Are you human, sir?"
Jian Wu's gaze sharpened. "I am."
"Where are you from?" Lu Yin asked.
Jian Wu stared at Lu Yin. "Who are you?"
"I'm the one asking the questions."
Jian Wu looked away. "You're not qualified."
The boss said, "Fine, then I'll ask. Where are you from?"
"Boss, let me ask." Lu Yin stepped forward and walked toward Jian Wu.
Jian Wu watched him. "Ask away. I won't answer."
"I'll make you answer," Lu Yin said.
It had taken him a long time to meet another human. Since Jian Wu had such a strong sense of pride, Lu Yin would ask in a way that let him keep it, for the sake of being human. That was Lu Yin's respect for humanity itself.
It had nothing to do with whether Jian Wu was friend or foe.
"If I beat you, I'll be qualified to ask, right?"
Jian Wu's gaze turned strange. "You?"
Lu Yin smiled. "Then I'll begin. Be careful. I'm not weak." With that, he struck out with his palm.
Jian Wu had paid him no mind, but the instant Lu Yin's palm shot out, his expression changed dramatically. He instinctively dodged. The void where he had stood collapsed, and terrifying power surged through it like flowing water. Even the slightest touch left him shocked.
What terrifying power! Was this a Loafer? Impossible. Even a Loafer couldn't have such terrifying power. What kind of creature was this?
That palm had been a greeting. Lu Yin raised his hand and pointed, unleashing a Finger Sword.
Jian Wu was startled and instinctively raised his hand, unleashing a Finger
