"Should I call you Captain or Lord Lu?" Eternity's voice came again, jolting Lu Yin out of his thoughts.
Lu Yin looked at him. "What did you say?"
Eternity slowly sat down. Lu Yin had been sitting across from him the whole time, cultivating. "We know each other too well, don't we? After everything we've been through, it's not easy that I'm still alive. You've had it rough too."
"Meeting here proves we're still bound by fate."
Lu Yin gazed deeply at Eternity. He hadn't expected him to recognize him.
In the current universe, only the Unknown, White Unknown, and a few others knew that Chen was his clone. Even Thousand Machine Strange Performance might not know; in fact, it was fair to say he didn't.
As long as White Unknown and the others kept quiet, the matter wouldn't reach the Main Dao.
Eternity's knowledge of it could only mean he hadn't learned it from the Unknown. He'd known all along.
"When?"
Eternity thought for a moment. "At Le City, when we first met."
Lu Yin was surprised. "How did you know?"
Eternity smiled. "Don't you think that beings who climb from humble beginnings to unimaginable heights possess far more than those who started at the peak?"
"That doesn't explain anything."
"All right. It was emotion."
Lu Yin said nothing, staring blankly at Eternity.
Eternity said, "When I look at you, I don't see your body or your power. I see your emotions."
"Life can change everything, but it can never change emotions."
"Qi Xu's power," Lu Yin said slowly.
Eternity nodded. "That's right. Qi Xu's power."
"From the box you stole from Ur," Lu Yin said, piecing together many things.
Eternity looked impressed. "No wonder you climbed from the bottom to where you are now. You still remember that.
