Saint Bow was stunned. "What?"
Lu Yin repeated himself. "Change into a human."
"No!" Saint Bow cried out.
A glint flashed in Lu Yin's eyes. "Are you refusing me—or refusing your own life?"
Saint Bow was puzzled. "Human, why are you asking me to change into one of you? What exactly are you trying to do? This is meaningless. You've already captured me. Even if I changed into a human, I wouldn't really be one. It would only be a transformation."
Lu Yin nodded. "Exactly. It's only a transformation. So what are you afraid of?"
Saint Bow wanted to say something, but looking at Lu Yin—especially those deep eyes—it could not find the words. A chill rose from the depths of its heart.
"Hurry up," Lu Yin urged.
Saint Bow's voice was low. "I refuse."
Lu Yin smiled. "Even if I kill you right now?"
Saint Bow stared at him. "I'm useful to you. You won't kill me."
"You used to be useful. Now you're not, because I have a better choice."
"What do you mean?"
"My request for you to change into a human came so suddenly. Who do you think told me about it?"
Saint Bow gritted its teeth. Sure enough, there was a traitor within the Master Clan. Otherwise, this human could not have inexplicably made such a request. No matter how one looked at it, the request was utterly meaningless—but to a lifeform of the Master Clan, it was tantamount to death.
Once it transformed, it could immediately change back, but if word of the matter reached the outside world, the clan had ways to determine whether it had ever become human.
Especially since it came from the Karma Master Clan.
Nothing could be concealed from its clan.
Lu Yin looked at Saint Bow with amusement.
