A scarecrow appeared in his field of vision, surprising him.
Rather than a scarecrow, it was more like a bundle of straw with only a head and body. Yet it flew toward him and finally stopped right in front of him.
Lu Yin curiously sized up the scarecrow. Its cultivation wasn't high, but for some reason, looking at it gave him an inexplicable sense of familiarity.
"How should I put it? Are you unlucky, or am I lucky?"
"We meet again, Lu Yin. I'm sure you didn't want to see me."
Lu Yin's pupils contracted, and his expression changed dramatically. He stared at the scarecrow in shock and blurted out, "Xiang Siyu?"
An ordinary scarecrow could be burned to ashes with a single spark. He couldn't imagine how this thing could be connected to Xiang Siyu. But that voice belonged to her.
Lu Yin had guessed that Xiang Siyu would find him sooner or later. Even hiding in the True Self Realm wouldn't keep him safe. All he could do was delay her discovery as long as possible. He hadn't expected her to find him so soon.
His thoughts were in disarray.
The scarecrow slowly approached Lu Yin. He didn't dodge, simply watching as it drew near. It seemed to be studying him, too.
"Mm, another clone. A little weak, but it doesn't have any power that points back to you, so it won't be easy to recognize." As she spoke, she turned to look into the distance. "Quite a few things have happened in Outer Heaven lately. Some of them must have had something to do with you, right?"
Lu Yin looked at the scarecrow. "Is this your clone?"
The scarecrow smiled. Though it looked eerie, knowing she was Xiang Siyu made Lu Yin see that face as hers.
