Bu An looked over. It was deeply wary of creatures from the Master Clans.
It wanted to become the Main Sequence of the Luck Dao. It had even schemed against the Su Xin Sect to that end, but offending a creature from a Master Clan would be a serious problem. Although Fate Left wasn't from the Luck Master Clan, who knew whether he was on good terms with its members?
Someone of that standing could trip it up with a single word. If that happened, it would never become the Main Sequence.
"Your Excellency, I, Bu An, don't believe I've ever offended you. If I follow you, though, I'll truly be making an enemy of you. I'm sure you've heard of me. I'll bring you bad luck," Bu An said. It had never admitted to bringing others bad luck before, but now it was trying to make that sound like its own doing.
Fate Left didn't want anything to do with Bu An either, but the being behind him wanted it, so he had no choice but to bring it along.
"Believe it or not, with one word from me, you'll be expelled from the Main Dao and hunted for all eternity."
Bu An's pupils widened as it stared at Fate Left. "Your Excellency, why go so far?"
Fate Left couldn't actually do that, but there was no harm in bluffing. "You can run if you want. Let's go. We don't need to bother with it."
"However, if you look back and it hasn't followed us, return to the clan immediately and report to the Main Dao. Hunt Bu An down. Leave no survivors."
Wang Chenchen turned and left without hesitation. She was confident she could beat Bu An, but this wasn't a good place for a prolonged fight. It
