The Sea King looked at the old man impassively. "I didn't invite you. Did the judge send you to the Falling Star Sea, or was this someone else's idea?"
The old man smiled faintly. "If I said it was the judge's idea, you'd send me packing, wouldn't you?"
The Sea King sneered. "He doesn't dare come himself, so he sent you to get chewed out."
The old man sighed. "I have no right to interfere in the grudge between you. You should know why I came. Tell me the truth so I can report back."
The Sea King narrowed his eyes and stared solemnly at the old man. "I can tell you, but no more than three people can know about this. The other two who are as famous as you, especially, must never find out."
The old man nodded. "You have my word."
The Sea King stared at him for a while, then looked away. A hint of worry appeared in his eyes. "I'm older than all of you. This universe can no longer contain me."
The old man's body shuddered. He stared at the Sea King in disbelief. "You mean...?"
The Sea King raised a hand. "My power is waning."
The old man's expression turned grave.
The Sea King lowered his hand and gazed into the distance. "While I'm alive, no one dares provoke Sea King's Heaven or casually enter the Falling Star Sea. But if I die, who will protect this place?"
"So you want to use Origin to protect Sea King's Heaven?" the old man asked, watching him.
The Sea King sighed. "Origin can only serve as a deterrent. Strong people like you won't care about it at all. Otherwise, the Glory Hall wouldn't have let the struggle for Origin go unchecked. But at least Origin
