These twelve colors of divine power were distinct. Each contained a foundation of power that, if allowed to spread without end, could eventually reach the level of a ruling power. That meant divine power had never been in conflict with ruling-level power to begin with.
That was why it could potentially be fused with ruling-level power later. The process was unimaginably difficult, but at least it was possible.
If divine power did not contain these forces—which were like ants compared to ruling-level power—then such a fusion could never succeed. It simply wouldn't be feasible.
Lu Yin watched, lost in thought. Whoever had created divine power had considered this from the very beginning.
This, too, was one of the foundations of the Mitian Grand Plan.
Divine power could fuse with dead silence to form the foundation for fusing ruling-level powers in the future. It could also fuse with vitality and other forces just below the ruling level. Divine power was essential, but Dead Silence Power was not.
The reason Lu Yin had fused with Dead Silence Power was that he had cultivated death energy, traveled to the Death Universe to absorb Dead Silence Power, and had the help of Thousand Machine Strange Performance. The circumstances had simply aligned.
Lu Yin dispersed the Black Flame in his palm, pondered for a moment, then continued fusing it with Power of Time.
Now that the obstacle was gone, it was only a matter of time.
As for why his consciousness had been so difficult to fuse before, there were two reasons. First, he hadn't seen the true nature of consciousness. Second, consciousness didn't seem to be a power unique to the Rulers. The more ordinary it was, the more difficult it became.
Perhaps consciousness would be the hardest ruling-level power for him to fuse
