Hu Qiu instinctively looked at Lu Yin, his eyes full of grief.
"Has anything similar ever happened in your family's history?"
"Anything similar?"
"To put it plainly, have you ever been hunted?"
Hu Qiu looked bewildered. "Hunted? No. Who would hunt us?"
Lu Yin said, "But as far as I know, your family has always been moving. Every so often, you leave your home and settle somewhere else. The last move was before you were born, so you were born on Si Nan Star."
Hu Qiu was confused. "How does Mister know that?"
Lu Yin narrowed his eyes. "Your relatives might not be dead."
Hu Qiu's eyes widened. He grabbed Lu Yin. "Mister, how do you know? Is it true? They're not dead?"
Lu Yin said, "I only said they might not be dead. My old friends aren't so easy to kill." He hadn't expected one of his old friends to be right beside him.
