Ku Zu looked at Lu Yin. "They said they knew where Shi Jian was."
Lu Yin was puzzled. "I believe you know where Xiang Siyu is, but how did you find Shi Jian?"
Dong Yuan explained, "We really don't know where the Luck Master is. She'd never tell us, either. We're famous for switching sides whenever the wind changes."
Lu Yin raised an eyebrow. How did that sound like they were proud of it?
"As for Shi Jian, it didn't tell us itself. We sensed it. Have you forgotten what we told you before? The Mother Tree is our home."
Lu Yin remembered. He'd met the Four Great Yu back then and learned that they had actually been born inside the Mother Tree, making them the first living beings in the true sense of the word. Above them was an ancient being called Great Yu.
Great Yu was said to be as old as history itself.
It was probably even older than Shi Chu.
But it never asked about anything. It hadn't intervened even when Xiang Siyu captured the Four Great Yu. Perhaps it wasn't strong enough. In the end, it disappeared along with the Consciousness Master.
Lu Yin stared at them. "So Shi Jian is in Disorderly Heaven." Disorderly Heaven was the Mother Tree's roots. Since the Four Great Yu had brought it up, they had to mean that place.
The Four Great Yu nodded in unison. "We don't know exactly where, but it's definitely in Disorderly Heaven."
Ku Zu frowned. "Disorderly Heaven is full of people coming and going. Why would it hide there?"
Nan Yuan sighed. "We don't know. We're just sure it's in Disorderly Heaven. There's no mistake. Look, just let us go, will you? We're tired."
Ku Zu looked at Lu Yin.
