Lixium smiled bitterly. "You flatter us, Your Highness. For some reason, every ten thousand years, my tribe suffers a calamity that drastically reduces our population. Fortunately, we've always managed to survive."

"Perhaps," Lu Yin replied. He recalled that the Star Gate had divined that the Sea King would seize the sourcebox energy.
