Liu Shaoge leaned helplessly against the wall, looking at Bu You's corpse beneath the tower. "I was one step too late. The moment that so-called Anti-Eastern Frontier Alliance appeared, I should have urged him to leave. If he hadn't died, I wouldn't have died either."
Lu Yin slowly raised a hand. "You saw that coming."
"There's more." Liu Shaoge's lips curled into a smile as he raised his Personal terminal. "Brother Lu, take a look."
Lu Yin glanced at it, and his expression changed. "Six Glory Points? How did you get those?" He was genuinely surprised. He had earned his Glory Points the hard way: one for distinguished service on the border battlefield in the Wen Feng Liu Realm, one for winning the Greatest Competition, and the other four in the life-or-death battles in the Iron Blood Territory. His current total of eleven came from Dao Pu granting him the chance to enter the Dao Origin Sect and Elder Ruohua making an exception to award him a point. Every single Glory Point had been hard-won. What gave Liu Shaoge the right to have six?
"I hadn't wanted to reveal it, but since you've already decided to kill me, I have no choice," Liu Shaoge said regretfully.
Lu Yin stared at Liu Shaoge. "Even if you have six Glory Points, I'll still kill you."
"What, Brother Lu? Aren't you afraid of the Glory Hall?" Liu Shaoge taunted.
Lu Yin was about to answer when a thought suddenly struck him. "The Glory Hall is the supreme authority in the Human Starfield. It maintains the balance of the Human Starfield and doesn't interfere in conflicts between factions. It only grants protection from death to people with more than eleven Glory Points. Six points aren't enough to make the Glory Hall step in."
