The sky was packed with figures. Lu Yin rose into the air among them, watching a young man rush into the mountain range in the distance.
That mountain range was where the treasure-betting game was held. More than ten areas where Sourceboxes might be found had been set up inside it: mountains, lakes, giant beasts, and all sorts of strange places. For a certain price, a participant could choose one. The more they paid, the more choices they got. Of course, it wasn't cheap—the price was almost as high as that of a Sourcebox.
But it was a game meant to let people enjoy the thrill of treasure hunting. Finding a Sourcebox was secondary.
Quite a few Spirit Interpreters who had never interpreted a Sourcebox hoped that playing this game would improve their understanding of them. In truth, it did little good.

Lu Yin found it amusing. The young man couldn't see the rune lines of a Sourcebox, and since these Sourceboxes hadn't been discovered, they looked no different from ordinary things. Finding one really came down to personal ability.
After a long while, the young man pointed at a huge, strange-looking rock. "This one."
The treasure-betting boss smiled and had someone carry the rock out to him.
"Brother, crack it open and see if there's a Sourcebox inside."
"Yeah, open it!"
The rock's surface was covered in dense patterns, almost like a design. The energy around it fluctuated intensely—both were signs that a Sourcebox might be inside.
The young man glanced at a pretty girl
