After an unknown length of time, everything Lu Yin saw returned to normal. The sky was still the same dim sky, seemingly endless, filled with boundless Rune Dao Numbers that pressed down on everyone.
Nearby, Red Tassel was passed out, while Hai Qiqi stared at him with wide, curious eyes.
Lu Yin's eyes shifted. He rubbed them instinctively. "How long was I out?"
"Five days," Hai Qiqi replied.
Lu Yin nodded, closed his eyes, and rested.
Hai Qiqi couldn't hold back any longer. "What did you see? You stared like that for five whole days. Did you realize something?"
Lu Yin waved a hand. "Just let me rest for a bit."
Hai Qiqi was very curious. She'd heard Father King say that some people had extraordinary talent and might experience the strange phenomenon known as sudden enlightenment. Lu Yin's state over those five days seemed a lot like it.
