It was from Hu Dahai!
Ever since the two of them had parted ways outside the cafeteria a few days ago and added each other's contact information,
they hadn't chatted at all. Now, seeing a message from Hu Dahai,

"Instructor Qin is back. He wants you to visit him tomorrow."

At that, Lu Yuan's eyes widened and his heart gave a jolt. He couldn't help feeling excited.
Once he'd calmed down a little, Lu Yuan hurriedly asked, "Should I bring a gift?"
After all, it was his first time visiting his instructor. He couldn't just show up empty-handed.
That wouldn't be right.
But there was a knack to choosing a gift, too.
If it was too expensive, it'd hurt his wallet; if it was too cheap, he might as well not give one.
Finding something just right...
would be harder than climbing to heaven.
So it was better to ask Senior Hu Dahai, Instructor Qin's older student!
"No need to bring a gift. Just come as you are."

Lu Yuan guessed his internet connection might have lagged.

So Lu Yuan twisted the throttle and sped up.
When his scooter had drawn close to Fang Shi's,
Lu Yuan called out, "Brother Fang Shi!"
Fang Shi immediately answered, "Brother Lu Yuan!"
Then he slowed down on his own, riding alongside Lu Yuan.
"Brother Lu Yuan, I didn't know you trained at the supernatural ability halls, too. I'm heading to the cafeteria to eat. Want to come with me?"
Fang Shi spoke first.
"Perfect. I'm hungry, too. Let's go together."
Lu Yuan agreed.
Before long, the two scooters pulled up in front of one of the cafeterias at Shencheng Supernatural University.
Lu Yuan ordered two plates of beef and green pepper fried rice with egg, along with a large bowl of warm, delicious silky fowl soup.
Training at the supernatural ability hall took a tremendous amount of energy, so naturally, he had to eat more!
But Fang Shi's appetite was on another level...
Four plates of beef tenderloin and green pepper fried rice, two large bowls of tender, fall-off-the-bone corn and pork rib soup, and even two flatbreads!
