"Abolishing slavery isn't for us. It's for you, for everyone—for the sake of defending freedom and resisting those who enslave others!"
A slave owner who had bought a pile of slaves was now preaching the abolition of slavery. It was a ridiculous sight, and everyone remained wary.
At last, as the sun set and people began to leave, someone finally came to ask Gedell a question.
She was a Demi-human girl, a Dog Demi-human.
She had flaxen hair and was quite pretty, though she wasn't wearing a Maid Outfit. Dania had become a maid mainly because she had an S-rank talent, and Lilim had found an excuse to keep her by her side.
Anna got along well with Dania, so she was treated a little better in the women's work crew. Dania often looked after this benefactor-like older sister.
Pretty faces were hard to forget, and Gedell knew her. Miss Dania was very close to her.
"Knight Gedell, you said that people being willing to sell themselves into slavery was the darkness of this world. Why is that?"

"Knight Gedell, the Orcs invaded my village and the nearby towns. The village chief and people from the other nearby villages all fled, so we had no money and no food.
