Leticia had taken it all in. The materials used to forge this sword and its properties were all excellent.

But this rapier wasn't entirely a rapier. It combined several different features.
It was narrow at the top and widened toward the bottom, forming a diamond shape, with sharpened edges on both sides.
The blade was white, its edges were purple, and its hilt was designed like that of a one-handed sword.
Yuffie took the sword down and poured magic into it. The purple edges immediately extended, transforming it into a full-fledged one-handed sword.
"This..." Leticia's eyes widened as she reached out to touch the purple blade. "It looks like a Magic shield."
"In ancient times, there was a sword technique used by Magic Swordsmen. They used magic instead of Battle Qi."
Yuffie placed the hilt in Leticia's hand. "This is a Magic Swordsman's technique. It's a lot like a Magic shield, but the magic becomes the blade. The more magic you have, the sharper it is. And you can still benefit from the amplification a magic wand gives when casting spells."
Yuffie turned around and handed Leticia the scabbard too.
"Take it."
Leticia didn't refuse. She drew back her magic, making the blade disappear, then sheathed the sword.
"I'll take the sword, but I'm not leaving," Leticia said with a smile. "Yuffie, you said there wasn't enough time. What's going on?"
"Did something happen?"
Yuffie shook her head. "No. The plan was originally supposed to take decades, but things changed too quickly. We need to alter it."
