Holy Sword Mountain, meanwhile, was home to a massive force of Fully Armored Cavalry, two-legged dragon riders, and legionary infantry.
Each Fully Armored Cavalryman was equipped with tens of thousands of Heavy Cavalry Spears.
There were over a thousand two-legged dragon riders.
Every legionary infantryman wore heavy armor and carried a large shield, with three Javelins strapped behind him.
They were all incredibly formidable.
The Empire's First Prince, Lothair, rode his horse to the site with his own Mercenary Group, carrying military orders.
His Mercenary Group was exceptionally well-equipped. Though it numbered only a thousand, every man had two horses!
And he commanded far more troops than that. Over the course of more than a decade, he had gradually gained control of the Imperial Army.
He had also expanded several Mercenary Group Subgroups.
These weren't the ragtag groups with only a few dozen members.
Each Mercenary Group consisted of hundreds of elite soldiers who had fought across the world, campaigning in the south and north, east and west, and earned an excellent reputation.
Every man had armor, a bow, and a horse.
What's more, these mercenaries had all been personally recruited by the First Prince. They came from every corner of the world and had won countless battles.
