"Your Highness, you're going to teach at the academy?" Leticia was savoring her mousse cake. The sweet, creamy taste hadn't even faded from her mouth when she heard the shocking news.
"As vice dean, no less?"
It was a little surprising, sure, but when she thought about it, the former Student Council President was now the vice dean. Heh, that seemed like it came with a bonus.
A cool, aloof princess who was also vice dean.
No, that wasn't what she should be thinking about right now. Leticia shook her head. "So, are you giving up the fight?"
"No. Father Emperor asked me to." Yuffie held her teacup in both hands and lowered her eyes. She looked utterly dejected, and in her hands were the two new letters she'd received after leaving the palace. "Freya is a little hard to deal with, too."
"How the Empire should restore its National Strength, where I should place myself in the struggle for power, and what my future should be." Yuffie took a sip of black tea and regained her perfect composure. "No, I said one thing wrong just now. I should have said how to improve the Empire's National Strength."
