But spread them out, and there were fewer men.
Each unit got fewer of them, too.
The reason everyone used ordinary soldiers was simple: they were cheap.
Elites were powerful, but that didn't mean they couldn't die.
Now, faced with the brutal street fighting, even some elites had to enter the battlefield.
To keep losses low, they had to advance slowly and wear the enemy down.
What Lynn cared about was minimizing losses. Ideally, they wouldn't lose any soldiers at all.
Though elites had been brought in, that didn't mean they could ignore casualties. This wasn't the time for that.
And so, they settled on the 75mm precision-fire tactic, along with the Indoor Shield Guards and Rooftop Black Knight tactics.
Lynn ordered the loose Slime explosives to be made into explosive packs for the Black Knights and shield guards to carry.
He also arranged for the mages to equip themselves with magic.
He was going to tear the place down!
Though the houses would become stronger earthen mounds once demolished, that was still better than leaving them standing.
The new assault division soon moved in and took over the Punishment Brigade's offensive.
The twelve 75mm cannons were heavy, but Battle Qi Supermen didn't need horses with them at all times.
Much of the time, they could push the 75mm cannons wherever they wanted.
Like now.
A Battle Qi Superman pushed his 75mm cannon up to a street corner.
Bullets came from across the way, but the mage behind him blocked them with a Magic shield.
"Good, this is the angle. Kevin, give them a shot of Explosive Flame Magic and let them have it!" Raven, the Battle Qi Superman, held out his hand for a
