But now she seemed almost withdrawn.

Running away from the problem was wrong.
Li Ang gave Kara and Ciri a look, asking them to take Rachel and play with her.
Fortunately, Rachel had two playmates, so she soon began to relax.
Time flew by.

Gotham had seemed remarkably peaceful lately.
So peaceful that it made people uncomfortable, like the calm before a storm.
A hidden crisis could erupt at any moment.
Li Ang and the others could sense it clearly.

Although she had regained all her memories, this was still her birth mother, who had raised her when she was little.
No one knew how Three Palaces had appeared in Azarath, or how he had destroyed it.
The family sat in the car, with Li Ang behind the wheel.
Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy led the way in front.
Kate Kane was sitting in the passenger seat beside Li Ang.
Rachel found it a little strange.
She was only going to see her birth mother. Why was everyone making such a big deal of it?
