Li Ang looked at the cool, mature woman with long, straight black hair before him. He hadn't expected to find her after all that searching—and now she'd come straight to him.
He'd spent a long time looking for Zatanna back then, but she'd refused to show herself.
He hadn't expected her to come looking for him now.
A smile tugged at the corner of Li Ang's mouth.
You used to ignore me, huh?
Now I'll be someone you can't afford to offend.
Zatanna had no idea what was going through his mind. She simply asked in surprise, "You looked for me?"
"Yes. I wanted you to teach me magic."
Li Ang answered casually. He wasn't in a hurry anymore.
Zatanna thought back for a moment, and then she remembered.
"So it was you. Sorry, I didn't know who you were back then, and I don't teach magic to just anyone."
Zatanna apologized.
"It's fine. I don't need you anymore anyway."
Li Ang's reply displeased Zatanna.
"What do you mean?"
"I found a better magic teacher."
"Impossible!"
Zatanna said haughtily, "Who on Earth is better at magic than me?"
"Then you really are ignorant."
Li Ang said, "You're not even the Sorcerer Supreme. How can you say that?"
"Huh?"
Zatanna was baffled.
What was a Sorcerer Supreme?
Was that some kind of invincible title?
It did sound awfully impressive, but she was certain there was no such person in the magical world.
Had Li Ang been duped?
Seeing her expression, Li Ang shook his head and brought his hands together.
"Mirror Dimension."
As the spell unfolded, the whole world turned upside down. They were clearly in a hotel room, yet in an instant, the two of them were standing on the ceiling.
"What kind of magic is this?"
Zatanna was astonished.
