The sword dealt fatal damage to magical creatures, while merely knocking out nonmagical ones.
So for the Scarlet Witch, this conjured sword, something like a "Rule-based Weird Tale," was extremely dangerous.
But the problem was, Magik couldn't hit her.
When Illyana grew up, she defeated the demon Belasco and became the Queen of Limbo. Only then did she return to Earth.
Her powers were formidable, but she was a melee fighter. Even when she used Teleportation Magic to get close to the Scarlet Witch, Wanda sensed her.
This had been her best chance, but she'd missed.
Scarlet Witch Wanda was furious, and her guard went up.
