"LexCorp is involved in the Black Market Arms Trade, secretly controls gangs, and has carried out criminal operations in Metropolis!"

At LexCorp Tower, Lex Luthor watched the scene on television, his face turning livid.

Though it was only the director's accusation, there would surely be enormous pressure to come.

LexCorp had no shortage of competitors!

There would definitely be people eager to kick them while they were down.

Lex Luthor said coldly to Mercy, "What's the matter with that dog? Why did he rob a bank?"

Lex Luthor was so angry he actually laughed. "How much money can you get from robbing a bank? Is that son of a bitch an idiot?"

As his trusted assistant, Mercy was much calmer.

She nudged her black-rimmed glasses up and parted her red lips to speak. "Someone must have framed us."

"Bruno Mannheim was an ungrateful bastard who could never be tamed. It's not so bad that he turned on us now; the damage isn't great."

"I'm afraid I'll have to submit to an investigation. I'll leave the company in your hands for now."

Lex Luthor said, "Don't disappoint me, Mercy."

Mercy said nothing, only nodding silently.

After Mercy left, Lex Luthor silently poured himself a glass of wine, feeling rather displeased.

He was just about to take a drink when he noticed two people sitting on the sofa. He had no idea when they'd appeared.

One was Batman, wearing his suit. The other was Li Ang.

Li Ang smiled and said, "Long time no see, Mr. Luthor."

"Do I know you?"

Lex Luthor said it deliberately.

He certainly hadn't forgotten Li Ang, but the moment he saw the two of them, he knew whose trap this was.

So, unwilling to admit defeat, he could only use this method to annoy Li Ang.
