For Li Ang back then, the End of the World prophecy had just been a way to promote a movie.
And the movie had indeed been a huge success, earning nearly eight hundred million dollars worldwide.
It had just fooled a lot of people.
But for the people in this world, the prophecy wasn't meant to promote a movie. It was really going to happen.
People in the world promoting the movie believed the prophecy, while nobody in the movie's world did.
It was rather absurd.
So Li Ang pulled Deadpool away and said, "This isn't going to work. They'll just take you for a clown."

Deadpool quipped, "This isn't Gotham."
"These people are beyond saving. Let's go."
"No. We need to try a different approach."
Li Ang wore a smile, though to Deadpool it looked a little sinister.
Then a blazing red Phoenix Force surged out of him.
Before long, the skies over half the Earth had turned fiery red.
Everyone in the Northern Hemisphere felt an intense heat.
The sight was utterly shocking. Fiery clouds swallowed the white ones, and even the scorching sun couldn't reach the ground.
Yet temperatures around the globe rose sharply, and the ice at the poles began to melt.
It was like a crimson Hell, bringing nothing but oppressive dread.
At that point, Li Ang and Deadpool didn't need to spread a word. A whole host of "Great Confucians" came out to proclaim that the End of the World was nigh.
After all, people in this world believed in all sorts of things, and many worshipped Satan.
But when Satan actually appeared before them, they usually got so scared they wet themselves.
That was probably a case of the man who loved dragons being terrified of a real one.
