The Autobots even thought that Unicron might not be a match for Li Ang.
After all, Unicron needed the Transwarp Key to travel between worlds, while Li Ang could open a portal with a wave of his hand.
And they really had returned to Cybertron.
Cybertron looked barren.
For a long time, Cybertron had been at war with the Quintessons of Quintessa.
The Quintessons were a greedy, evil, and dark race. They were a group of selfish scientists who sought to rule the universe, and their thirst for knowledge was stronger than anyone else's.
Legend had it that Unicron had tempted the Quintessons, leading them to attack Cybertron and enslave the Transformers.
The Quintessons' long-term enslavement had depleted most of Cybertron's resources, leaving the planet utterly barren.
Then, with the rise of the Autobots and Decepticons, the two sides began fighting among themselves.
As the number of Transformers grew, Cybertron's resources became even more inadequate.
And so things had ended up as they were now: Cybertron's energy reserves were depleted, and the Transformers had no choice but to roam the universe.
The Decepticons wanted to occupy other parts of the universe, but the Autobots disagreed.
For the Transformers, the most important source of energy was Energon.
At first, Energon had been everywhere on Cybertron. It could be drunk, and it could also be used as a weapon, fuel, and more.
But as it was mined, the supply of Energon had dwindled.
For a time, the Transformers had even lived underground.
Living underground made it easier to evade the Quintessons and allowed them to mine energy more efficiently.
"Is this Cybertron?"
Kara and the others followed Optimus Prime to an abandoned city.
Judging by the ruins, Cybertron's city buildings had been enormous.
Perhaps that was because the Transformers themselves were so
