"Beep! Beep!"
The alarm went off in the Justice League Hall in Metropolis, immediately catching Cyborg's attention.
Ever since becoming Cyborg, he hadn't been comfortable staying at home.
He always felt uncomfortable indoors, but even less comfortable outside.
If ordinary people discovered what had happened to him, they would give him strange looks.
The only place where that didn't happen was the Justice League.
At least everyone there was an "oddity," so nobody would treat him like a monster.
So perhaps the reason people in strange costumes could get along was simply that they were alike.
He checked the alarm, and his expression changed at once.
"Bruce!"
He immediately contacted Batman.
"What's wrong? I noticed the Justice League alarm went off."
Batman, Bruce Wayne, asked.
Cyborg answered at once, "It's outer space. There's a threat coming from outer space."
"We detected energy fluctuations from Apokolips!"
"Apokolips?"
Batman fell silent for a moment, then said, "Call in all members. Bring in the reserves, too."

They had known for a long time that Apokolips coveted Earth.
Batman, a paranoid man, had naturally been making preparations in secret for a long time.
But even with the resources of Wayne Enterprises, it was difficult to do much.
Even if the entire Earth united, it would probably still be difficult to do anything.
Because their enemy was terrifying.
