A piercing scream shattered the morning quiet and rang through the entire room.

Cao Xue sat on her knees on the spacious bed, her clothes disheveled. Biting her lip, she glared at Li Xian, who was sleeping soundly.

Her silk pajamas had slipped off her arms, exposing her fair, smooth shoulders, her sexy collarbones, and a glimpse of pale skin beneath the neckline. Faint red marks were visible on her neck and shoulders.

Cao Xue clutched the neckline of her pajamas with one hand, pulling them closed, while using the other to shove Li Xian, who was wrapped in a down comforter. "Get up! Don't pretend you're dead!"

Li Xian didn't react at all. He continued sleeping soundly.

"Goddammit, what did you do to me last night?" Cao Xue shouted as she grabbed the down comforter and yanked hard.

She hadn't lost much and had even gotten to enjoy the Presidential Suite for free for a few days. It was a good deal, so Cao Xue happily agreed.

I'm not stupid. If I keep arguing with you, it won't get me anywhere, and I'll just make you hate me. It's not worth it.
