[Main Mission reward generating: 10% 20% 30%]

This busted system better come through. Please, please!

Li Xian clasped his hands together and silently prayed. He was brimming with anticipation for the Main Mission rewards.

The rewards for ordinary random missions had already given him a taste of what to expect: Character Attribute Points, draws, and special little items. Each time, they either thrilled him or made him want to puke blood. So what would the Main Mission rewards be like...?

System, don't make me fight you for real. If you try to pull one over on me, watch your back.

Two or three minutes later, the generation reached 100%.

[Main Mission Rewards: Character Attribute Point Random Gift Pack +1, Crazy Ten Consecutive Draws, Random Skill Card +1, Card Slot +1, LV1 Mission Title: Quick Shooter. All rewards have been issued. Please check your inventory.]

Holy crap... Holy crap!!!

An attribute pack, ten draws, and a Skill Card...

Not bad, not bad~~~

6666666

System Daddy, your backside is safe.

Li Xian beamed with delight, his whole chubby face lighting up. These rewards far exceeded his expectations.

Never mind the other rewards—just look at the draw. Considering how stingy the system was, getting ten draws at once was incredibly generous.

Ordinarily, completing a random mission only earned him one draw. This was like completing ten missions.

There was a chance the draws would get him something good from the stingy system, and ten tries would greatly improve his odds.

But Li Xian didn't celebrate too soon. Based on his experience trading wits with the system these past two days, maybe it had some more junk it wanted to unload.

Pooh, pooh, pooh... Children's words don't count!

He entered the system inventory and looked over each reward. Instead of rushing to try his luck, he focused on the attribute pack.

Right now, Attribute Points were what he needed most. Of all his stats, only his looks were passing. For the Son of the Destiny System, his other stats were downright pathetic.

[Character Attribute Point Random Gift Pack description: There is a chance of obtaining between 1 and 10 Character Attribute Points.]

So it was another gamble.

Surely he couldn't be that unlucky.

Give me ten points!

Li Xian took a deep breath, waited a few seconds, then opened the gift pack.

[Congratulations! You have obtained 8 Character Attribute Points.]

Phew~~~ Not bad, not bad.

Eight points were like completing eight missions.

Li Xian was very pleased with the result. He'd been working hard on missions these past two days and had only earned four Attribute Points. Eight would keep him busy for quite a while.

After calming down, Li Xian turned his attention to the Random Skill Card. Just as he was about to open it, a system notification suddenly appeared in his mind.

[LV1 Main Mission score: 60 points. Pass.] [LV1 Main Mission Evaluation Level: E-Class.] [Note: Since the host's Main Mission Evaluation Level is too low, there are no additional rewards.] [The host has reached LV2. Funds for the LV2 Main Mission will be issued in 48 hours.]

Forty-eight hours? Two days from now?

Damn, the money came in slower than he spent it.

This busted system was pretty inefficient, too.

Li Xian complained, then fixed his gaze on the conspicuous E-Class rating. It really rubbed him the wrong way. He muttered, "What's that supposed to mean, trying to get under my skin? How'd you come up with this E-Class rating? You think I don't know how to spend money? Fine! I'll buy houses and buildings. One day, I'll be the biggest real estate investor in the country... No, in the whole world. Your Uncle Li will be the biggest of them all."

He wasn't just being stubborn. He really did have that idea.

He'd own properties all over the country and become a landlord, sitting at home collecting rent until his hands cramped up. Just thinking about it felt damn good.

It was the "great" dream handed down by his ancestors, and the busted system had actually looked down on him for it.

Unforgivable!

One day, I'll plant my little flags all over the world.

Li Xian ignored the rating and set himself a modest goal. Still, he resented the system for withholding the additional reward. Not getting something always left him itching with frustration.

He put that aside for the moment and opened the Random Skill Card with a thought.

[Congratulations! You have obtained a Skill Card: One Shot Into the Hole (Upgradeable)] [One Shot Into the Hole: Advanced Billiards Skill Card. By wielding mysterious power, you can achieve unexpected results.]

Li Xian: "..."

A little crow flew over his head. The excitement he'd felt at getting a Skill Card instantly halved.

This was his first real Skill Card, and yet... it seemed... pretty damn useless.

System, get your ass out here...

What kind of crap skill was this? Did it think he didn't know that power made miracles happen?!

Look at everyone else's cheat abilities. They were all flashy skills like basketball or piano. At the very least, they got cooking skills.

And you give me billiards... So a pool cue doesn't count as a weapon, huh?

Li Xian had always used pool cues like clubs. Playing billiards was another matter—the table's design was completely unreasonable. The table was so big and the pockets so small. How was anyone supposed to sink a ball?

The system stayed silent, as usual, playing dead...

After venting for a while, Li Xian put the Skill Card into a Card Slot. He'd asked for this himself, so even if he had to cry, he'd have to...

The Skill Card slid into the slot, and a flood of information poured into his mind.

Standard stances, stable shots, aiming points, the use of high, low, and middle shots, cue-ball control—billiards knowledge of every kind. Li Xian felt as if he'd spent more than ten years honing his skills.

The feeling was incredibly mysterious, even more satisfying than simply getting stronger. Li Xian lowered his head and looked at his chubby hands, suddenly feeling an urge to grab a cue.

"Tsk, tsk... This seems pretty good after all. I'll give it a try when I have time." Li Xian grinned, and his earlier frustration vanished.

The Great Jingze had descended so quickly, catching everyone off guard.

All right, no need to make a big deal out of it.

Li Xian opened the system inventory again and added all eight Attribute Points to his looks without a second thought.

His looks jumped from 62 to 70, and his body reacted dramatically.

His whole body grew hot and itchy, as if bugs were squirming beneath his skin. It was rather uncomfortable.

He didn't have time to think about it. He stripped off his shirt and hurried to the bathroom.

He turned on the shower and felt the warm water wash over him. The discomfort eased at once.

Li Xian took a bath mitt from the system inventory and scrubbed himself, starting at his forehead and moving down to his neck and chest. He kept going, scrubbing everywhere he could reach except his back.

About ten minutes later, he turned off the shower.

Li Xian felt refreshed all over, more relaxed than after a full-body massage.

He dried himself off, wrapped a towel around his waist, and went to the mirror. The moment he saw his reflection, he froze as if struck by lightning.

Holy crap, my Pay-to-Win Eyes are going blind from how handsome I am!

Li Xian's mouth fell open. He squeezed his chubby cheeks with both hands. They were still just as plump, but their elasticity was on a whole different level.

His skin was so smooth and fair it could make a woman's legs tremble with envy. And that wasn't all: the dark circles that had plagued him for years were gone. So were the acne marks on his forehead and cheeks, along with the blackheads on his nose and the redness around his T-zone.

His whole face looked as if it had grown a new layer of skin. Even his features had changed slightly. He could now say he was the most handsome guy in the 200-jin weight class.

After checking out his handsome face, Li Xian couldn't wait to inspect the rest of his body. It had undergone the same transformation as his face, as if he'd shed a layer of skin. Smooth, fair, and flawless.

The dark marks left by mosquito bites were gone. So were the scars from falling as a child, and even the scar from an old surgery.

Li Xian's eyes widened. He held down his stomach and stared at his lower body, then cried out, "Holy crap, where's my scar?"
