As she spoke, she took off her armor, revealing the black night clothes underneath. Then she tied her hair back and put on a black face covering.
She'd planned to make an attempt on Swain's life tonight. She'd only dressed as she had earlier to avoid drawing suspicion, pretending to be on patrol. Now it was late at night, and time to act.
