Ch. 522Had Someone Been to This Planet Before Us?

Ōtsutsuki Yunshi defeated Grell, claimed his collected artifacts, and devastated parts of the Land of Gelel before following a map to an ancient ruin. There, Yunshi and Kawashiki discovered an Otsutsuki contact mark that suggested someone from their clan had visited the planet before them, despite the absence of any mission record.

  • Ōtsutsuki Yunshi stopped Grell’s escape, rewound time after Grell exploded himself, and compressed him into a living flesh ball for a future Zanpakuto.
  • Kawashiki gave Yunshi a Sealing Scroll containing Grell’s treasures and a map to the ruin Grell had sought.
  • Yunshi and Kawashiki left the Royal City, and Yunshi unleashed earthquakes, hurricanes, and a tsunami across three regions of the Land of Gelel.
  • Yunshi and Kawashiki arrived at the ruin shown on the map and found an Otsutsuki Clan contact mark carved into a cliff.
  • Kawashiki questioned why the clan’s records showed no visit to the planet as Yunshi touched the mark’s surviving patterns.

Ch. 523Remains of Otsutsuki Shibai

Ōtsutsuki Yunshi discovered Ōtsutsuki Shibai’s remains beneath an ancient Otsutsuki structure and took them for himself. He planned to use them to grow strong enough to resist the Main House, leaving Kawashiki to consider whether to follow him.

  • Ōtsutsuki Yunshi activated the marked wall and found damaged Otsutsuki markings and a Six-Tomoe Rinnegan design beneath the platform.
  • Ōtsutsuki Yunshi told Kawashiki that Ōtsutsuki Shibai had died there, then activated the platform and revealed Shibai’s remains in a coffin.
  • Kawashiki confirmed that the figure was lifeless and recognized its Byakugan, Black Eye, and Rinnegan.
  • Ōtsutsuki Yunshi stored Shibai’s remains in a spatial rift and explained that he would use them to gain enough strength to withstand the Main House.
  • Ōtsutsuki Yunshi warned Kawashiki that he would kill him if necessary, then left through another rift as Kawashiki gave a strained reply.

Ch. 524The Authority to Steal Fate

Ōtsutsuki Yunshi found that his blood had transformed a valley and given the toad Gamamaru intelligence, setting him on the path to becoming the Great Toad Sage. Confronted by the sense that history was steering his actions, Yunshi resolved to replace fate with his own will and began shaking the valley with Hado Fifty-Seven: Earth Dance.

  • Ōtsutsuki Yunshi and Kawashiki searched the oceans for Maki but found no trace of the Ōtsutsuki treasure.
  • Ōtsutsuki Yunshi recognized the valley where he had once met the Island Turtle, Dorn, and Zhongzhi, and concluded that his blood had transformed the region over the past century.
  • Ōtsutsuki Yunshi called out the toad in the lake, and Gamamaru revealed that he had died once, been reborn through Yunshi’s power, and named himself.
  • Ōtsutsuki Yunshi saw Gamamaru’s emergence as evidence of fate shaping history and resolved to make his will replace fate.
  • Ōtsutsuki Yunshi cast Hado Fifty-Seven: Earth Dance, violently shaking the valley and surrounding land.

Ch. 525Waiting Until the Seas Run Dry, Until the World Changes Beyond Recognition, Until Two Thousand Years Later

Yunshi concealed Myobokuzan, gave Gamamaru two Kusabi disguised as Sage Talismans, and revealed his plan to wait for two thousand years and ultimately kill whoever occupied Shibai’s position. In Konoha Year 65, Jiraiya brought a gravely endangered child to the Great Toad Sage and begged him to save the Child of Prophecy.

  • Yunshi raised cliffs and ravines around the valley, filling them with mist to create Labyrinth Mountain and conceal Myobokuzan.
  • Yunshi gave Gamamaru two talismans that could preserve the dying and a Crystal Ball that recorded events and observed Natural Energy; Gamamaru named them Sage Talismans and the Memory Stone.
  • Yunshi told Kawashiki that the talismans were their Kusabi, while Kawashiki worried that Gamamaru could not find suitable Vessels.
  • Yunshi reassured Kawashiki that safeguards would keep them both alive, then decided to wait until two thousand years later and vowed to kill the one in Shibai’s position.
  • In Konoha Year 65, Jiraiya rushed into Myobokuzan’s stone hall carrying a child and pleaded with the Great Toad Sage to save the Child of Prophecy.

Ch. 526The Revived Hyuga Yunchuan

  • The Great Toad Sage recalled a dream of the past and recognized Hyuga Yunchuan as the Child of Prophecy Jiraiya had brought for help.
  • The Great Toad Sage used his final Sage Talisman to heal Yunchuan, while Greed secretly altered his body and concealed the changes.
  • Yunchuan revived with black hair and Tenseigan eyes, briefly revealing the identities Hyuga Yunchuan, Shadow, and Ōtsutsuki Yunshi before appearing confused.

  • Yunchuan told Jiraiya that Shadow, Hueco Mundo, and Akatsuki remained threats and that they needed to return immediately.

Ch. 528Just Pretend I Killed Him in the Genjutsu

Yunchuan returned with Jiraiya and Tsunade to the Land of Hot Water, where the Allied Shinobi Forces confronted Orochimaru and Nagato, and Orochimaru began summoning someone with Impure World Reincarnation.

  • The Great Toad Sage told Fukasaku and Shima of a vision in which war overturned peace and order, ninjas ceased to exist, and all living beings lived beneath one figure’s shadow.
  • Tsunade examined the revived Hyuga Yunchuan, confirmed his body was healthy, and joined him and Jiraiya as they hurried back to the Land of Hot Water.
  • The Allied Shinobi Forces reappeared in the Underground Palace, where Sarutobi Hiruzen found Orochimaru and Nagato and learned that Shimura Danzō was missing.
  • Orochimaru claimed the Underground Palace had made his genjutsu killing of Danzō real, and Nagato summoned the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path to drive back the Allied Shinobi Forces.

Just as the forces faced certain destruction, Hyuga Yunchuan appeared and unleashed Silver Wheel Reincarnation Explosion.

  • Uchiha Madara summoned a flaming meteorite, while Nagato, Konan, Orochimaru, and Black Zetsu discussed its power and the missing Jinchuriki.
  • Ōnoki and Sarutobi Hiruzen rallied the panicking Allied Shinobi Forces, who dug shelters and tried to brace for impact.
  • Ōnoki slowed the meteorite as Sarutobi Hiruzen used the Adamantine Ruyi Staff and Triple Rashomon to stop it temporarily.
  • Uchiha Madara sent down a second meteorite, which smashed into the first, broke the defenses, and sent Ōnoki falling.
  • Hyuga Yunchuan appeared before the collapsing meteorites and unleashed Silver Wheel Reincarnation Explosion.
