"Hey, hey! Why are you so sure I can find Nuoyi? I'm not a police dog!"
Yin Qiyue said, speechless.
She couldn't understand why Su Yuan had handed her such a task with such absolute confidence.
Su Yuan: "Huh? You mean you're not?"
Yin Qiyue: "Why are you so shocked?!"
Su Yuan gave a light cough and smiled.
"I was just joking. You may not have any way to track Nuoyi, but the memories tied to your identity as the Xuan Yin Sect Master should contain information about this world."
"The Xuan Yin Sect Master is a Golden Core Peak powerhouse, after all. She should know about anything in the Illusionary World that isn't especially secret."
"Even if there's nothing about Nuoyi, you should at least be able to find out where some of the powerful figures in Ten Immortal City are."
As he spoke, Su Yuan complained to himself once again about how useless his identity was.
If he were the son of some Spirit Transmutation Heavenly Lord, then the Illusionary World would hold no secrets from him.
But no, he was just a lowly security guard. He had no choice but to ask someone else for help.
Yin Qiyue understood. She was about to absorb all of the Xuan Yin Sect Master's memories and search for clues when Su Yuan stopped her.
After all, Xuan Yin Sect had a whole pile of messes to clean up. It wouldn't do for the two of them to keep chatting in the sky.
So they quickly set about cleaning up the battlefield.
First, they locked Zhu Qingqing up and confiscated all her puppets. Then they arranged for the wounded to be treated and for the sect's surroundings, damaged in the battle, to be restored.
After a busy stretch, night was falling.
