"As for whether choosing to stand with you was the right call, to be honest, I'm not sure myself."
She fixed Su Yuan with a complicated look and murmured,
"To be honest, I can't see through you at all anymore."
"I don't know how you survived the Chaos, or how you came to wield power connected to it."
"Never in my long life have I seen an individual as unusual as you. I can't help wondering whether you might be a spy sent by the Chaos."
Hearing that Wan Chenxin had voiced the same suspicion as the Faceless Person, Su Yuan laughed wryly.
"Don't worry, Senior Wan. I'm absolutely loyal to the Cultivation World. I'd even swear a blood oath against my own heart demons to prove it."
Though Su Yuan's words were firm and decisive, deep down, he did have some concerns.
He was a bona fide Blue Star native, and there was no doubt he was willing to do everything in his power to protect this universe.
But he wasn't so sure that the system bound to him was on his side.
