My new book, "Adventurers of the Sewer," is out-I'm on my knees begging you legends to take a look!
I was brimming with confidence when I started my last book, but it flopped miserably.
So much so that this humble author hesitated for ages, unable to decide what genre to write for the new book.
Should I keep going with comedy and absurdism? I felt I was nowhere near some of those god-tier authors. My way of thinking was still too ordinary, and if I put it out there, competing books would probably beat me black and blue.
After agonizing over it, I decided to take the tried-and-true route after all.
So I settled down and wrote a grounded story that felt real and immersive, about an ordinary person who traveled to a fantasy world, made companions, and leveled up and grew stronger one step at a time.
Of course, there would be comedy and memes, and there would be spicy scenes too.
This humble author would never again dream of reaching the heavens in a single bound. No matter how the new book performed, I would keep writing it.
As long as I kept writing and correcting my past mistakes, I would improve eventually, right?
I earnestly beg you legends to head over and take a look!
This humble author bows in thanks right here, or2!!!
The new book is just getting started-please lend me your support, legends!
