However, the Fire Attribute energy from the Soul Bone clearly gained the upper hand. The aura of Extreme Ice was forced back into his body, while the searing energy began spreading from his left arm throughout his entire body.
Patterns resembling molten lava slowly crawled across Shen Hanyu's body. His organs felt as though they were being scorched by raging flames, causing unbearable pain. His expression twisted fiercely as fresh flesh was slowly generated at the point where the Soul Bone fused with him. Unfortunately, before it could fully take shape, it was destroyed by the extreme heat.
A painful, itching sensation that penetrated deep into his bones made Shen Hanyu drop to one knee and gasp wildly. Even Tian Meng, hiding in the Sea of Consciousness, was affected. Feeling unbearably uncomfortable, he wrapped himself into a huge ball of flesh and hid deep within.
As flesh continuously grew and was destroyed, the scorching energy slowly entered half of Shen Hanyu's body. The newly grown flesh gradually covered his entire arm again. Shen Hanyu clenched his teeth tightly and forced himself not to make a sound.
But just as Shen Hanyu let out a breath of relief, an intensely freezing sensation suddenly came from his right arm.
Shen Hanyu gave a muffled groan, and his face turned deathly pale once more.
